I got this because the game I play most on my switch is Smash and the best way to play smash is with my GameCube controllers. This adapter allows you to connect up to four GameCube controllers to your switch and works well. It is a great value for the money and is easy to use. The way that it works is that it connects through two USB ports to the switch base and all you have to do is connect the GameCube controllers normally. It is a simple design but is perfect for the switch. I bought this to use with the Nintendo Switch that my son got for his birthday. It works perfectly and does exactly what it was described to do. It's super easy to use. You plug it in the gaming system and then plug in the game cube controllers and you are all set to play. This was an excellent purchase for the price and I highly recommend it if you need a game cube controller converter.

Worked exactly as expected and as I wanted it too!

I give four stars because I'm unable to use it with steam, but is great to use it with emulators

Found out you can't use joycons while its plugged in

It does everything it says, and it's pretty easy to set up

I bought to replace my original one that stopped working. So far so good.

I would gladly change my review if this worked with a regular blue wii. Sadly I will have to return this and try another product.
