Will this part work for this fireplace eyf18nv ?

i bought this and installed it however my fireplace would still not work. we ended up replacing the entire fireplace

Will this work on a charmglow 300tg (using liquid propane)? and can an old lady change it herself or will i need an expert?

I’m not sure what units this will work with. But it was difficult to reach and not easy to change out. The one they sent me didn’t work. I cleaned and reinstalled my old one and it’s been working fine since
