36" waist & 36 " length what size will work?

I have a 36" waist and 34" inseam, and the large size was a bit too short for me. XL would most likely be too baggy. You should probably try, as I should have, some other brand that comes in tall lengths.

Does this material has static (clinging) problem?

I have not had problems with static but I do use fabric softener with all my clothes. I like these pants a lot as the are very lightweight and comfortable. Good lounging pants... which have become my “everyday” pants during COVID working from home.
