I got mine thursday.  no directions either... where can i download directions?

Technical Specifications:

• Step 1. Begin filling the pool. Add both bottles of stain away following the directions for use on back of the bottles. This will help control minerals that are in the fill water, protecting your pool from staining and scale formation.

• Step 2. As the pool is filling, add clarifier following label directions.

• Step 3. Once the pool is full, start the filter and circulate the water, and allow the system to recirculate the water over night. This will allow complete mixing of the clarifier and stain away with the pool water.

• Step 4. Once the pool has recirculated overnight, shock treat the pool by using the pool shock. Shock treatment will help give the "polished" look you will enjoy. Always broadcast shock directly in the swimming pool. Brush any settled particles.

• Step 5. Add algaecide according to label directions for initial treatment.

Does this kit contain the exact step by step instructions on when to insert which product and the time frames to wait?

Yes, it does tell you what chemical to add in what order and wait times between each chemical addition. It's the only kit we have used for years because it contains everything you need and includes easy to understand instructions. We usually close our pool with the "In The Swim Ultimate Winterizing Kit" (closing kit) at the end of October and open with this kit at the beginning of April and the water is perfect, clean and clear. The start up kit for a 7,500 gallon pool has one bag of shock. A 15,000 gallon pool kit has 2 bags and a 30,000Super Start-Up Chemical Kit up to 30,000 Gallons Includes:

2 Qts. Stain, Rust & Scale Preventer
1/2 Gal. Algaecide (non-metallic)
4 lbs. Chlorine Shock
1 Qt. Clarifier
1 10-count 4-Way Test Strips (Chlorine, pH, Alkalinity, Stabilizer)
1 Sun Sorb gallon pool kit has 4 bags of shock. Shock is a one pound bag.

Is this enough for a 28 ft pool?
