Peerless

Description

Asian-American twins M and L have given up everything to get into The College. So when D a one-sixteenth Native American classmate gets "their" spot instead they figure they've got only one option: kill him. A darkly comedic take on Shakespeare's Macbeth about the very ambitious and the cut-throat world of high school during college admissions. Review: More Asian American stories - Incredible play, it reads so quickly and it is a wonderful story of Asian Americans. It made a lot of my fellow students in our directing class very happy to hear stories about people who had similar expectations put on themselves. Review: Jiehae Park's play is amazing - I was so surprised to find this on desertcart. Jiehae's play is incredible and I was happy to find an actual published hard copy!
