Ever since Beam protein rebranded to Be Amazing and scrapped their whey protein line, it’s been really hard to find a dupe. This really hits all the marks I was looking for. It’s creamy, mixes well, feels like a meal replacement and not just a supplement, and doesn’t make me bloated or nauseous. And it tastes incredibly delicious. Their cereal milk is great! The ingredients seem on par with higher end brands for a competitive price. Second time restocking and will be buying more.

Overall, Ghost proteins mix well in both milk and water, they have a relatively good calorie/protein ratio, a great rewards program, and great marketing. Their flavors are also relatively unique. I'll review them individually as I've tried several. Just a note that all Ghost proteins are -sweet- to varying degrees. That said, some are awesome. Chips Ahoy - 5/5. LOVE IT. This is going to be hit or miss for people, because it's got chunks of chips ahoy cookies in and big chocolate chips in it. Just enough, mostly at the bottom of the shaker, to make you feel like you had a treat and didn't have to force yourself to drink a protein shake. It's a cereal-milk kind of flavored vanilla backdrop that honestly does taste like milk after you've been dunking cookies in milk. I love this and could live off this. Marshmallow Cereal Milk - 4/5. Definitely feels like I'm cheating by drinking this. It's full of marshmallow - very Lucky Charms-inspired. It's base is a sweet vanilla cereal milk and the marshmallows satisfy my sweet tooth. I'm a guy who could eat half a box of Lucky Charms in a sitting. I'm probably better off drinking this instead. Cereal Milk - 4/5. This one was good, if a little boring after going through Chips Ahoy and Marshmallow Cereal Milk. It's basically another variant of the vanilla you've been drinking for years (or decades). Oreo - 2/5. I wanted to love this. I genuinely enjoy Cookies n Cream flavored protein shakes, but this one had a strange fruity/sweet scent that was offputting for me. Rather than oreo filling and chocolate, I was getting floral, fruity, sweet undertones in every sip. Cinnabon - 1/5. SWEET. I could barely drink this. There are other brands of protein powder that also do cinnamon and do it better. I tried diluting this to make it more palatable, and eventually had to mix it with another less sweet protein powder to mask the sweetness. This one's not for me.

Drinking this stuff is pretty awful, and when I first bought it I hated it so much it drove me to find some way to use it. I found that if I add it to a yogurt bowl it just tastes great, actually improving the texture and taste at the same time. I actually can't eat a yogurt bowl without it anymore which I assure you my wallet isn't pleased about. The protein powder itself is great but having mini chocolate chips in a drink just doesn't make any sense, you end up choking on them most of the time. TL;DR don't drink this use it for food

Honestly, it taste good. Not like an actual nutter butter but if you really enjoy peanut butter you will like this. It has 26G of protein per serving and 160 cal. Honestly most proteins give me stomach issues but this one is pretty easy on the stomach to digest for me at least. Quality feels good and not too much of the distinct taste you get with other protein shakes. The reason why I didn’t give it 5 is because it doesn’t taste exactly like nutter butter but wasn’t too bummed out because honestly that was to be expected, but sometimes even when mixed well it still has chunks. I really don’t mind it, I know some people will. Overall enjoyed this protien

This is the first protein powder that I've tried that I actually like the taste of. It isn't doesn't have a fake flavor and it isn't gritty. It mixes well - I've used almond milk and regular milk. I prefer that over water. There are small pieces of cookie in the mix. I prefer to shake it over blending it into a smoothie, however it's really good both ways. I have mixed in frozen bananas to make it more like a shake. It's not too sweet for my taste. It has not caused me any stomach upset.

This is the BEST protein powder I’ve ever had. I think a lot of protein powders are too chalky and/or thick. This one literally tastes like the leftover milk from dipping chips ahoy cookies in milk, and you even get the bonus cookie crumbles at the bottom just like the real thing! It also doesn’t upset my tummy, which is pretty rare for me.

This is my favorite protein powder!!! If you love nutter butter you will love this stuff. Only need one scoop and it will last forever. It’s my favorite dessert at night. It has a little crunch to it which makes it taste even more delicious. Totally worth the money.

Performance and Value While the flavor profile is industry leading, the overall value is lacking. The serving size is disproportionately large at nearly 40g per scoop to reach only 26g of protein. This indicates a high volume of inclusion ingredients and fillers that dilute the actual protein yield. The price point is significantly higher than comparable whey blends on the market. Durability and Quality The packaging durability is standard for the industry. However, the quality of the "extra" ingredient list is disappointing. The use of cookie bits and thickeners adds unnecessary calories and carbs to what should be a lean isolate blend. The scoop is massive. It takes up a significant portion of the tub volume. The Verdict Buy this if flavor is your only priority. If you are looking for an efficient protein-to-calorie ratio, there are better options available.
