Fragile but cute
Cute. Will break easily if dropped though. So be careful! Fell on our tile floor and broke in half.

Came detached
They are super cute, and I’m lucky I have a hot glue gun!!! Unfortunately when I opened them, one just popped right off the back.

Good size and quality while holding up well in my hair
They held up well in my hair. I wore them to my Halloween birthday party. I was dressed in a mermaid costume. I would definitely recommend them to anyone they were a good size and good quality.

I love these!
Even though they aren't real starfish, they look pretty realistic! (minus the fact that they are too white. But to get that rougher look, I took the advice of one of the Amazon reviewers here and rubbed a little bit of a light brown eyeshadow on it. Looks great!) They are very sturdy and did not break in the mail at all. Not only are they very strong, but they are also very detailed! These will go great with my mermaid costume! Note: they do not look as rough as the first few product pictures, but look more similar to the very last picture.

Cute but broken
The metal clip is attached to the starfish with hot glue and one of them arrived completely detached from the clip. It should be an easy fix but definitely frustrating. It is the perfect clip for our Ariel Halloween costume so we will make it work!

Broke immediately
Bought this as part of my daughter’s halloween costume. When it arrived in the mail, one was already broken, the metal clip came detached from the shell. Didn’t think this was a big deal, as she only needed one for her costume, so I just glued it back together. Within five minutes of wearing the second one, the shell came detached from the clip. When the glue dried, we tried that one and it broke again immediately. I know these were pretty inexpensive, so I wasn’t expecting much, but am pretty disappointed in the poorer than expected quality of these.

Perfect accessory to our mermaid costumes.
These worked great for mine and my daughter’s mermaid costumes. The only thing I changed slightly was the color. I actually ended up spray, painting them white and letting them dry overnight before I attach them to our costumes.
