Bought this product because I’m currently using the Body Scale and love it! I like the fact that you can remove the container weight. Pro: Slim, light weight, easy to read screen, if your plate goes over the screen - you can use the app to still see the weight, use scale without having to use App, quick set up, building plates Con: I am not good with technology, so I am not sure if the App, works? Or if the App is hard to use, I cannot scan the label to find the specific food/drink you’re measuring, I like the food library. Overall I love the scale. I will continue to educate myself with use of the app, and hopefully with app development it will build out features that make it more user friendly. I am planning on purchasing another one of these scales for my daughter

The scale is sleek and easy to use. I appreciate that it comes with batteries. I was looking forward to an easy calorie calculator app interface for that "smart scale" side of things but the UI sucks and there are lots of unreliable sources for the food options -- for instance, searching for banana nutrition facts will give you 5+ different sources, some of them with "0 calories" as the nutritional information. I plan to keep the scale because it's accurate and I like the aesthetic. But if you were hoping for a nice app to accompany this scale, I'd look elsewhere.

I bought the Fitindex Scale for my weight and loved it, so I wanted to try out the nutrition scale as well and I love it! It is always so hard to figure out portions for fruits and vegetables, but the scale makes it so easy to actually control my portions. It is also great when a recipe calls for ounces of a food. But I have no idea what 2 oz of cream cheese looks like! I love the different unit options that come with the scale so you can easily measure any item you want. I also like how you can connect it to an app to see the actual nutritional facts about the food you are measuring. You may be over or underestimating how much sugar or protein you are getting from one serving of food, but the scale helps you actually get the right serving rather than having you guess. 10/10 would recommend! It's also a great size and can easily be stored anywhere. It doesn't beep or make noises which is also nice.

This is my first food scale and I have the FITINDEX smart scale to track my weight and the app that comes with it, so when they came out with this little scale I ordered it. I never really thought about weighing my food to see if was actually eating the serving size or not and turns out I wasn’t! This will definitely help me with portion control and my calorie counting will definitely improve. This little scale is so easy to use and I love that you can weigh the container and zero it out before adding your food. That way you aren’t having to do a bunch of math when you’re hungry lol. I also like that it’s glass and black, it’s very sleek and doesn’t look like some of the other food scales I’ve seen. It does connect to an app that you have to download to track what you’re eating, I’m still not super sure about that part though. The app definitely needs work. I was kind of bummed that it didn’t just connect to the FITINDEX app so my weight and food intake and everything could all be on one app. But I will take what I can get. Overall, I think it’s definitely worth the money.

- The scale itself turns on and measures very quickly. - I like the fact you can weight your bowl/plate, auto register the weight and and then add food for food weight ( tare function) . Tare function is easy to use. Cons: - Paring info with fit index scae: IDK, is unclear, I tried to ask customer service via email and after 5 days, still no answer -TV dinners, Chip, etc.: not many prepackaged foods are listed. For example the brand of bread I use is not other and the nutrition info of the brand listed is WAY different than other food diary apps such as W, Fibtbit and LoseIt has far more prepackaged food values. - Eating out: no other way that I know to list foods I eat. For example if I go to Torchys Tacos, I cannot just enter torchys salmon taco and see info of nutrition info. It is impractical for me to take apart my taco or Wendys burger and weigh EACH item when I am out. -adding favorite foods: cumbersome--you cant just enter numbers for calories; you must delete current value or use denial points. - saving the new food that I took time to enter all values: ineffective. I tried this and when I went to eat the same food item the next day, it did not show up when searched for it with words. -word search for foods: not useful- items/brands are not listed, such as Smart Ones Spaghetti, or Lean Cuisine Linguine, or Olive Garden breadstick, etc… - I wish there was a way to save my plate that I use each day at home weight and simply weigh my food. Extra steps./time needed to weight the same plate which night then add food and remeasure. - Sleek black appearance but be careful because it leaves fingerprints form the slightest touch., unobtrusive on counter * Overall, it is a great scale--accurate and very easy to use. No known advantage to using with fit index body weight scale. Other food diary apps appear to be updated and more user friendly.

This scale was super easy to set up. Batteries were included so I could use it right away which was fantastic. There are simple instructions in case you can’t figure out what to do but it’s very intuitive. The app is really easy to install and set up with your Bluetooth. The measurements were on point and you can do so many things to help you better understand what you’re eating like all the stats in a diary form. You can also track your progress if you’re trying to reach a goal like losing weight. You can add you food to a “plate” which makes it really easy to track your meals. There’s even a place to track your coffee brew. So far I’m very impressed by FITINDEX products! I’m excited to continue to use this to help me eat healthier!

This is the perfect sized scale to put on your kitchen counter or to store in a drawer. The battery life is great and I would definitely purchase again.

Bought the scales as the buttons on mine are starting to go, the buttons are on top so stuff gets in them easily. The buttons on these scales are on the front, so no stuff should get in them affecting their function. The scales are good, fast response time and all the weighing units you'd expect. With the buttons being on the front there's also more room on the scales for a big plate or bowl. The great thing is that the screen is back-lit, which means I can weigh things in the dark! I know, weird but I like to have the lightd off or dimmed before bed in the evening. The Bluetooth connection is a bit dodgy to set up, but connected eventually. Seems to auto connect, the search feature never found it, it just connected on its own. It's a great idea and the functionality of it works quite well with weighing food and selecting it in the app, it's just the database doesn't match up to the likes of Myfitnesspal, so not really useable for me, but I didn't buy it for that so doesn't bother me in the slightest. Overall a great scale, sleek, slim, sturdy and responsive, everything I could want in a scale really.

I like that it turned on and arrived in good condition.

The Smart Food Nutrition Scale is a great tool for any weight-loss Programme, very accurate, The app is really easy to install and set up on the smart phone via Bluetooth, you can easily track your calories and weight true the Gennec app, I really like this smart scale you can do a lot of things with it and the app, and you can keep control on what you eating and how to target you gaols and keep healthy, it’s got nice glass top for easy cleaning, I am really impressed by this FITINDEX Smart Nutrition Scale, I highly recommend this product 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌

A nice size, not too big. Simple to set up and intuitive to use. Easy to clean. Going to throw out my old fashioned scales which were so inaccurate. I have the body mass scales from the same company and they are quality so I expect the same from these new kitchen scales. Not used the app yet much, likely will stick to the basic food weight features. A very reasonable price too. Happy with purchase.
