HEET Water Remover & Gas Line Antifreeze, 12 oz

The optimal fuel to utilize for an alcohol stove is one that burns intensely, capable of boiling water in less than a few seconds. It is ideal for CDT hiking, as a single bottle can sustain the entire trip and support boiling water four times daily with minimal fluid consumption each time. This bottle will serve you for a lifetime. It is arguably the best fuel ever produced by humanity.

This stuff is really amazing! It's a great price for something that works perfectly for backpacking stoves. I noticed a little sweet smell coming off of it, but I am not sure if that was the cat can I was using. For $2, this is the best fuel. I don't know why anyone would use anything else when it also doubles as a great way to get your car started after a deep freeze after your backpacking adventure.

Good product.

Great item for the car or emergency fuel for camping. Works great either way. Best price around.

Cheap as hell for its size! Being almost entirely pure methanol, it's so flammable and clean-burning that you can use it as tin-can-stove fuel in a pinch, so it's very versatile. That said, it's straight-up poison and soaks into skin fast, and it's hard to pour it without getting it on your hands, so wear gloves. Oh, and don't pour it anywhere near an open flame or anything too hot, unless you want to be holding an out-of-control flamethrower for a couple seconds.

2 tablespoons of this to a teaspoon of xylene in your empty tank will get way better fuel mileage. We put this in a test tube and it to the empty tank, then fill it up. My brother's truck went from 12MPH to 18MPH over 5 tanks worth. WARNING: more than this can damage your fuel injects, you want them clean, not dissolved

I stock these to have for alcohol stoves in case of power outages.

I’m using this stuff for my boat motor. Outboard Yamaha 200. I’ve been battling an issue with condensation in the fuel tank, which eventually makes its way to the motor, and the end result is not good. I’m located in the SC Lowcountry so you can imagine how humid it gets here. I was advised by multiple mechanics who specialize in marine motors, they said to not waste my time trying troubleshoot bc I’ll probably never determine why it keeps happening (we have ruled out water intrusion - it is definitely condensation forming in the fuel tank). Instead, they advised to start using this fuel treatment on a regular basis. On average, I add 2 bottles per month. More during the hot humid months, less during the winter. And guess what. Problem solved. At $2 per bottle, I feel like this is a deal of a lifetime. Getting stranded bc of stalling due to water in the fuel is NOT an enjoyable experience. Trust me. This stuff is a life saver. Also - to the reviewer who is complaining that the container states "12 oz" but it only weighs 11 oz - you obviously don't understand the difference between FLUID ounces and WEIGHT ounces. The bottle holds 12 FLUID OUNCES.

I gassed up and proceeded to the touchless car wash on site. I was in a rush to get home. I was completely oblivious to my extreme carelessness of going thru the car wash with my gas tank exposed and the cover wide open. Realizing what I'd done after the fact, I was horrified and scared snitless at the prospect of possible engine damage. I quickly did some online investigative work and read about the healing properties of HEET to mitigate moisture in the gasline and fuel tank. I live in Canada and could not find this product anywhere locally. Luckily for me AMAZON.CA carried it and could deliver in 2 days. That was 2 weeks ago and so far the car seems to be running with no deficiencies! Time will tell...highly recommend this product for moisture issues. THANKS AMAZON for saving my azz and my garage kept 2013 Camaro RS with 50,000 miles.

👍🏻

Can't confirm for certain but since we started using this product every spring for the boat we never have water in the gas problems anymore!

I found that it worked for me. People say this is snake oil but my car had issues with this winter being one of the colder ones. I waited until it was half tank used this and then filled it up and my car wasn't struggling.

I think it's works
