Multiple sheets of this rift cut white oak veneer matched very well and were free of noticeable defects. The adhesive back was easy to remove and apply to the MDF substrate surface. Adhesion was very good after applying with a fair amount of force to smooth it out. Looks very good once adhered. Edges were easy to trim, can be sanded as can the surface although go gentle on it to not mar the appearance. Accepts stain very well and evenly. While the adhesive backed veneer is more expensive that regular, its worth it for the clean, quick installation and quality finish.

The sticky backing is only annoying for correct placement rendering it unadjustable once down yet a few days later peels off in random places. This product required an extra step of an adhesive at the very least. I’d be careful which adhesive because there’s translucence in the veneer.

The glue on the back of the veneer came off the wood with the paper backing. Tried to make it work and got lots of bubbles. Vender was good on refunding. I would blame 3m adhesive. Have had luck with products like this in the past.

We used this to cover laminate countertop. Easy to apply, the adhesive worked well with a few exception along some of the edges. (Prep not 100%?) So much easier than contact cement. Took stain beautifully and sealed up well. Expensive, but cheaper than all new countertops!

This veneer was thick and sturdy, no chips. It cut easily with scissors and a paper cutter. The glue backing is nice and strong. Highly recommended.Veneer was packed nicely and protected. Rolled up. It flattened out quickly when unrolled and weighted down for a couple hours.Easy and fast.

The 3m adhesive does not go all the way to the sides. You will have to trim down. It is about 1/2 inch along one side and about 1/4 on the other. The adhesive does go all the way to the ends.You get plenty of usable adhesive covered veneer.Stains nicely.Strong adhesive.It is stiff and it needs to sit for a while to relax the coiled form. Go easy and help it along with light weights.
