On a scale of 1-10, how hot are these Hatch green hot Chiles?

We are always looking for "hot" green chili. We live in Florida, coming from Colorado. In Colorado we always had hot green chili available. Not in Florida. The population is differen. Most people in Florida come from the east coast and are not too familiar with Mexican food. We tried Hatch green "hot" chili. I made green chili. Everyone in Colorado would know what I mean by that. I guess most people would call it a stew. The chili I made was a disappointment. It was not spicy hot. I am still searching for good hot green chili.

How many cans? How many ounces?

there is 3 cans per pack. Each can is 4oz for a total of 12oz.

I'm not absolutely sure but a search online shows that other canned jalapenos are indeed EBT eligible, so i'd say "probably yes"

Good chillies

I moved for Colorado to Florida and I can't buy them in the stores here. Glad I can get from Amazon.

Versatile, spicy, but smooth.

One small can of these put in a wide variety of recopies such as chili, stews, soups, meatloaf,etc, imparts a spicy background flavor that his definitely hot, but very smooth and not "in your face." You can buy them mild just for the nice background flavor, but I always pick the hot.
