Once I put in my ssd and transfer data to it can I take the ssd out of the adapter?? plz help

Yes, of course. People routinely clone their drives this way and transfer the new drive into the PC.

Will this work with an xbox series s if i put a 512gb ssd in it?

If the USB port on your xbox has sufficient power to run the SSD then it should. It also depends on the configuration of the SSD. Some of the older M.2 2243 and M.2 2260's used a different bus structure (not PCIe) such that the card will not be recognized. You should look up the specs for the xbox s series for the bus type and speed requirements then check them against the SSD you are planning on using.

Would this work with a wd green sn350 nvme?

Yes. This enclosure works with all M.2 M-key and M+B-key devices. The WD Green SN350 NVMe drive is an M-key NVMe SSD.
