This bench is exactly what I was looking for! Loved it so much I ordered another!!We use our dining room table for school and one bench easily sits 4 of my kids.It’s sturdy, looks great and was quick to assemble. Took me only 15-20 min to put together.

I ordered this bench to use with our dinning room table....simply stated, it is a heavy (for our purposes, a good thing) and very, very sturdy! The bench is very well made and nicely finished...it was well packaged to protect the wood during shipment......I can recommend it highly!Some assembly thoughts: The bench comes with the seat as one piece, two separate legs and two "stabilizing cross-bars (you can only see one cross-bar in the picture)...but there are two (again, a good thing). All of the hardware for assembly was included, even an Allen Wrench for tightening the bolts for those who might not have such a tool. The hardware seems to be of high quality. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble the unit and could easily do it by myself (i.e., a one-man/woman assembly).All of the pre-drilled holes for assembly were drilled accurately allowing the pieces to easily be aligned during assembly. One hint: during assembly it helps if you first install all bolts leaving each one a little loose to make aligning and starting all of the bolts easier...then when all bolts are "started" you can tighten all of them easily.Another thing: if you live in a dry climate like we do (we live in the Colorado mountains where our humidity levels "hover" around single digits to occasionally the mid-teens), we have found that new wood furniture can often "shrink" over the first few months...therefore at this time I did not install the wooden plugs furnished to cover the bolt holes and will check all of the bolts for need of re-tightening after a few months and then install the wooden plugs.A really, really well-made product!!!

The sturdiness of the bench is actually pretty good. I was pretty worried and skeptical that it would be fairly sturdy with an adult sitting on it, but it doesn’t show any signs of tipping over.The problem I had with the bench was during the assembly. It should’ve been a half beer type of a job, but it definitely turned into a two beer kind of a job when I ran into issues fastening one of the cross supports. The Pre-drilled holes not deep enough to let the securing not set in it so I could screw in the actual bolt. I ended up having to further drill out one of the pre-drilled holes to get one of the screws and nuts to align. If I were not handy and had a drill bit, I would not of been able to get the bench together.That said, it does seem like a fairly sturdy and nice bench. We’ll see how it works as we start using it.

As said in the headline, we got this and took me all but maybe 15 minutes to put together. I did not even have to look at the directions it was so obvious. The bench is so sturdy and could fit 4 people pretty tight, 3 people comfortably, and 2 people is ideal. Looks to be very solid and it matches well with my darker toned 8 people table although I do wish it was a little bit longer for my giant dining room table.

I am amazed on the quality of this piece of furniture for the price. First things, it is extremely easy to assemble. It has 5 pieces altogether. I assembled it by myself with the tool provided. This bench is heavy and extremely sturdy. It’s almost identical in color to my original set. My set which has chairs, we originally bought 4 chairs but our family grew. The best option for us was to buy a bench. It looks great, not cheap. It’s also has a wide seating space so you don’t feel as if you’re falling off. It’s a great purchase.

Bought this bench on a whim. Glad I did! Quality is great. Has a good weight to it. It was easy to assemble. The finish is a bit on the glossier side.
