Are these lights dimmable?

Yes, they are dimmable. I use it with my Himalayan Salt Lamp.

What is the total height of these salt lamp bulbs?

They are as tall as a standard night light.

Why won't these light bulbs dim? I have have a dimmer switch on my salt lamp and it doesn't dim the light.

The dimmer switch on my salt lamp is working with these light bulbs. Maybe the dimmer switch on your salt lamp is not working correctly. I hope you are able to get it to work.

Can they be used for wax melts?

I have used some for my wax melts, but it just depends on the size.
