I absolutely loved this lanyard. It's so pretty and I received so many compliments, especially when I was near a window and the sunshine bounced off of it! Now, I'll start by saying that I did not treat this gently. It often fell to the bottom of my purse on my days off, which meant pulling it out past my collection of various items when I headed into work, so when the gems started falling off, I wasn't surprised. It lasted close to five months before I decided that too many gems were missing (like maybe ten total, but about half of them were missing from the part that customers were most likely to see) and I probably needed to switch it out again, but for the joy that it brought me and everyone who saw it, I'd say that I got my money's worth out of it! I'm glad I purchased this.I also want to note that, when I first bought it, I was taking a gamble because I can be pretty sensitive to textures, but I never felt a sharp edge on any of the gems and it was almost a comforting massaging texture on the back of my neck. That's kind of a big deal for me! So if you're hesitating due to sensory issues, too, I'd encourage you to get it and try it out! At this price point (<$10), what have you got to lose?Pros:-sparkly-subtle rainbow accessory for Pride season-makes customers smile because everybody likes sparkly things-improves your mood with subtle Pavlov cue (Sparkly things=good things, so this lanyard=yay, going to work!)-latch smoothly and easily opens for keys and things but firmly stays closed when you don't need it to be open (which would be basically always for a lanyard)Cons:-eventually will lose gems, especially if you don't treat it gently/hang it up on days when you're not wearing it to work and/or let it get lost in the depths of your purse-if you have extremely delicate skin on the back of your neck, this might not be for youTldr: get it! At <$10, you can't lose with this one!

I get so many compliments on this lanyard! I had my first one for 2 years before it lost just a couple diamonds where I hung it on the hook every day. It is so sparkly and honestly higher quality than I expected. I will forever own one of these for the rest of my teaching years.

Beautiful at first and I did get a lot of compliments but after wearing it every day the rhinestones fell off

Beautiful sparkly lanyard! I have worn constantly on several cruises and always get lots of compliments. Looks great even with formal wear and holds up great.

While this is a really cute lanyard, I was disappointed in the quality. After wearing for several months, it began to lose pieces of glitter. As that occurred it began to catch on my hair and it hurt to pull it off. Eventually most of the neck glitter completely fell off and just the cord underneath was exposed. Definitely great for occasional use, but not an everyday lanyard because it does not last.

The best part of this lanyard is that it really is so pretty! Sparkly and I get lots of comments on it. I had to wait a few days to wear it because the odd chemical smell was pretty strong. Even now, if I put it right up to my nose, I can smell it a bit.Also, I had a little trouble wearing this with a slightly fluffy sweater, it wanted to sort of get caught on the fibers. These things aside, I still really like it and think it was a great buy.
