This is more comfortable than just sitting on my office chair, but unfortunately, I still get pain in my coccyx. It's not quite thick enough to give me the support I need. It is of decent quality, and returns to its original shape after being sat on.

I bought this for my mum who has an extremely painful flare of sciatica and also suffers with arthritis. In general mum doesn't like cushions underneath her but she tried this the day it arrived and found it helped with sitting which has been one of the most painful things for her. She has used it everyday since. On the one day we forgot to put it back after we took it to help with the car journey as she had a hospital appointment (and my car has bucket seats which seem to aggravate her pain) she had worse pain sitting without it. It has been a real help and I would say if you are debating whether to try something like this to help with pain don't hesitate. One thing I will mention for those who have sight loss like my mum is that one side of the cushion has slightly raised grips to ensure it doesn't slide on the chair. One day I noticed mum had it on the chair upside down which meant it didn't stay in position underneath her as well, so worth keeping it in mind. I 100% recommend this as does my mum who is using it every day and if I sit on it to prepare her medication I find it very comfortable as I also have arthritis in my hips/knees. It has a carry handle along the top so easy to transport it in/out of the car or put in a wheelchair etc. I hope this review is helpful.

This does exactly what it claims to do. Once expanded, it's makes such a difference to my quite hard office chair, making it a pleasure to sit on now. It's very thick and supportive. Very pleased as I was sceptical, but now I would highly recommend.
