Rain Bird SRKCP/CPF Replacement Part

I used this Rain Bird SRKCP/CPF replacement solenoid for my irrigation system and was pleased with how well it fit and functioned. It was easy to install and provided a straightforward solution for replacing my damaged original solenoid. The solenoid feels well made and works as expected with the compatible Rain Bird system. Installation was simple, and I appreciated not having to replace the entire valve assembly just to address one faulty component. Overall, this is a convenient and reliable replacement solenoid for maintaining a Rain Bird irrigation setup. **Pros:** Good fit, easy to install, well made, restores proper operation. **Cons:** Confirm compatibility with your specific Rain Bird model before ordering.

If you’ve ever walked out to a swampy lawn or a dry patch of grass because a zone wouldn’t fire, you know the frustration. After wrestling with an old, buzzing unit that finally gave up the ghost, I swapped it out for this Rain Bird Solenoid, and the difference was night and day. Why This Solenoid Wins: True Drop in Replacement: It fit my existing Rain Bird valve perfectly. No struggling with mismatched threads or "universal" parts that don’t actually fit. Bulletproof Build: You can feel the quality in the casing. It’s built to handle the elements and high pressure cycles without cracking or leaking. The Silent Professional It operates with a crisp, satisfying "click" and no annoying hum. It just does its job in the background. Easy Installation: Even if you aren't a master plumber, the wiring is straightforward. I had the zone back up and running in under five minutes. The Bottom Line Don't waste your time with off brand replacements to save a couple of bucks. When it comes to irrigation, you want something you can install and forget about for the next decade. Rain Bird is the industry standard for a reason. If your sprinkler system is acting up, stop overthinking it and just get this. Your lawn (and your water bill) will thank you.

My irrigation system started misbehaving after almost 30 years. Found them reasonably priced and easy to swap out. This brand seems to have a good life expectancy.

The solenoid arrived the next day, was a perfect fit, easy install, and works the way it was designed. Thank you.

Works really well as a replacement. I never have to replace my Rain Bird valves, only the solenoids ever few years. Easy swap, takes less than 3 minutes.

The OEM replacement part worked like a charm. As an amateur, this is pretty installment and fix. However, little did I know that I only need to replace one solenoid to restore my whole irrigation system. My problem was that one solenoid likely shorted internally, and that alone impacted the other valve zones connected and shared by one common wire (the “C” wire). I ordered a set of 5 solenoids plus individuals one. Given that I only needed one, I was in the process of returning the pack of 5. I returned the unopened, Rainbird-branded box which should have the 5 solenoids. Unfortunately, Amazon, for some reason, flagged as 1 item and only refunded me 1/5 of the price. It took months to get this correct on the count and get the full refund with the customer support. Due to how Rainbird packaged these set of 5 in a closed box but are counted as 5 individual solenoids in Amazon system, I am taking 1 star off because they could of package them in clear, plastic bag like they did for the individual ones.

Our sprinkle system is 25 years old; this solenoid replaced the original perfectly.

Just what I needed they work and the price is reasonable
