Exactly what I needed
Was looking for a holding magnet to hold a 2lb humane cat trap door up. Retro-ed trap for electric release and this 100% duty cycle magnet worked great.

Not as strong as it says
I've tried supplying the required current and it's no where close to 176lbs. Maybe 80lbs.

No good!
This magnet is not as strong as it is advertised, very weak. I was very disappointed with it when I hooked it up to my power source. Also it doesn't seem to repel things when switching the current direction.
