Organic Doctor Organic Aloe Vera Lip Balm, 5.7 ml

UPDATE : It was already VERY expensive for a lip balm, but you DO get a large tube of it. Unfortunately, the price has gone up by 3.49 since January.......Well, it's not THAT special : ( Pretty expensive for a lip balm, but it is much larger than a common stick, and evidently the shipping is included in the price. It is true to form for Aloe products....smooths and conditions the lips, without making them peel, like all other aloe-free sticks. It is hard to find a product that has Aloe, without mint, so this is perfect. It is not oily or slippery like others, but one could add a bit of a more oily stick, to loosen it up. As is, it would be great under lipstick. Great find for someone with chronically dry lips.

I usually only do two swipes of this in the morning and goto work and it lasts all day. It's amazing how moisturizing this is and does not give that oily feeling at all. It doesn't leave the best taste on your lips but it's organic so that's to be expected. Will be buying more in the future when I run out.

This is a very nice product, but the functionality of the lip case is really not good. first of all the cap barely stays on and I’ve ordered these at two different times. Also, the design of the lip case is not good at all. It’s awkward and very annoying. The balm will not stay up in place when you try to apply it. You have to find a spot to hold it it to keep it from going back down into the case. Also my first tube of the lip balm was grainy and I thought maybe that happened because of the cold weather and it’s organic so I ordered another one and it is smoother but the lip case is really annoying. It’s a strange design. Even though it’s a fine lip product , I would not order it again .

I had surgery for melanoma and half my lip is re-built. Since then I've had terribly dry and chapped lips. I've tried to find something that would work. This is the ONLY one that works for me. It stays on well, it moisturizes, I don't have to keep reapplying all the time. I was buying this locally, but can't find it. Was VERY happy to find it on Amazon!

This is the only chapstick that was able to help me with severely chapped lips. Ive been struggling with it for a year and have tried many different balms. This is the best one I have used, and the only one that has helped me. Very smooth, great feel, smells good.

This has an interesting dispensing tube. Rather than the usual screw button on the bottom of the dispenser, this has a sleeve under the cap that you turn to extend the balm. Nice idea, but it needs a little work since the stick often gets pushed back into the dispenser when it is applied to your lips. The cap is also too loose, and can come off when it’s in a pocket. Unfortunately, not much else to like about this. The container size is substantially larger than a Chapstick even though it contains only marginally more balm (Chapstick has 0.15 oz; this has 0.19 oz). It makes this balm a poor value. Plus, the tube size makes it more cumbersome to slip into a pocket. The actual balm is not to my liking at all. It has a waxy texture that leaves my lips sticky and unpleasant feeling. It also has what appears to be some grit to it. All in all, it’s not a pleasant product to use. Given the price, the best I can do is one star.

Did not like it at all. Did nothing for me, however it was well accepted by others.

I use a lot of chap stick, lip balm, and have very sensitive skin. I love this chap stick! My lips are always worse in the winter, and within 2 days of using this, my lips were smooth again. IT has a light smell to it, and slight taste. I love it, and plan to stalk up. Great buy! And great customer service..
