Does time and date need to be re-entered after power outage?

Karen - Yes, the time and date on the VTech VS306-3 needs to reset after a power outage. However, the time will automatically update when you receive an incoming call and you have Caller ID service. Please note that the year setting has to be updated even after a call came in for the answering machine to announce the correct day of the week during message playback. Thank you!
