Cheap, you get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for which is a cheap reel that backlashes like crazy. Alert!! You cannot and I repeat you cannot turn down the tension knob control. One little turn Will backlash your line. It literally has to be turned up all the way! The braking system does absolutely nothing, basically there for looks? I played with the brakes and nope, does nothing.

Gear ratio is not 8:1
Have not used it yet. Feels like a good reel, but it is not a 8:1 gear ratio. I marked the spool and one revolution of the handle was about 7 revolutions of the spool. Pissed off but for $25 I will use .
