The build quality of the first chitarra resulted in a bit of wobble when pressing out the pasta, noticeable enough that it was causing issues. After reaching out to customer service, they replied promptly with a solution and sent a replacement one. Much better quality, and fantastic customer service - highly recommended!

Made of pine. Did not use as you had to thread it and the grooves were not adequately cut/impressed in wood to have wire stay in place. This was not a cheaply priced item so expected better quality.

A beautiful, well-made, and very useful tool. It’s two sided (which I did not expect), strung so it can be used to make pasta of two different widths. It’s pretty enough that it could be stored by hanging it on the wall if storage space is limited. I’m very happy with it!

Received my fun and unique dual pasta cutting tool, but it had a slight, unfixable flaw. I was trying to fix it, as it only involved two wires, but was just informed that they’d make all right again! So impressed! The chittara is a really different way of cutting a spaghetti or fettuccine style noodle because it creates edges, not round! As in four corners! Very fun textures for the mouth “feel” and hangs on better to sauces. It’s a lovely tool ; )

Size Large purchased. April 2025. Great piece for the purpose. Received two that did NOT include the Linen Drawsteing Bag to store it in. Two reasons I purchase this particular brand rather then others, the two sizes 3mm and 6 mm, and it comes with a Linen drawstring bag to store it in. Amazon tried to help but unable to supply just the Linen bag ir souble check if was in the box of a 2nd one as a replacement. Because it to did NOT have a bag in it. Very dissappointed. A little rocking but that's probably normal as wood breaths depending on the weather. Other then that Great piece to make your own pasta at home. I follow several Italian cooks on line and many use this type of piece.

Our product was not made correctly and we contacted the company. I missed the return window due to this being a Christmas gift I ordered early. They were so easy to deal with and offered solutions to fix our issue. We will certainly order from this company again.

Beautiful product and was so excited to use it but the strings were all unattached and misaligned when it arrived and no matter how hard we tried to restring them, the other strings would also detach.

Heard about this when taking a cooking class in Italy. I love it! It is hard to store though.

Would give it zero stars if possible. Strings were completely loose and a mess. Overlapping and tangled. No way this could be a usable product.
