Strange set of key stock. Bought the SAE set, and it was marked 1/8,1/4, etc. but when fitted to new broached gear and milled shaft it was very loose. When I measured the 1/8" was actually .1167" or 2.97mm. What I would expect on a metric set for 3mm. Each of the other sizes were similar undersized, but almost exact for metric. Not useful for me.

great assortment

Poor packing
Product was good. Package was busted open & most of the Metric keys were lost. I needed the Std key stock so I kept them instead of sending all back. Needs better packing to insure not busting plastic boxes open. I gave 3 stars because of package being busted open.

Two sets of SAE sent, instead of one and one.
I received two sets of SAE keys. Thankfully I was able to use the SAE to complete a pulley installation. I gave the second set to a friend!

SAE set with metric keys
The 1/8", 1/4", and 5/16 keys were actually 3mm, 6mm, and 8mm. The other sizes were not dead on size either. Forget about a tight keyway fit except for the 8mm being too tight in 5/16". I'm pretty upset finding this out several years after putting them on the shelf for an emergency.
