Great radio

I just purchased a second unit. The first unit lasted 5 years. After about three years the on off switch was a bit squirrely. In the fourth year I was transmitting but not receiving well. Eventually after 5 years it did not work consistently and since we go 20-30 miles off-shore I needed something that worked all the time. The new one works perfect and took only a few minutes to mount.

Works vary well. Fits in tight areas due to its size. Has all the necessary channels required for boat safety and communication needs

I have never had a problem with Uniden. It works great.
