Does this safely hold a Playstation Vita?

If you put Velcro tape on the Vita and on the Nyko clip, yes.Without Velcro tape, no.

Works to place tablet 8.3 inch LG G PAD?

I do not know the exact dimensions of the LG G Pad 8.3, but I would presume the answer is no. While the clip extends enough and is strong enough to hold my iPhone 4 or iPhone 5s, it does not extend enough, nor is it strong enough to hold my iPad mini which is smaller than the LG G Pad 8.3

Will this hold an Lg G3?

Absolutly. I have a galaxy s5 and it can hold my phone vertically. A great buy

Will a google pixel 2 XL fit ?

Pretty sure any phone and some tablets will fit.
