Small, no wheels perfect for my fat 24 lb cat
The media could not be loaded. Can’t understand why this is a frequently returned item. Maybe because it’s larger than what people think? I have a 24 pound big cat and have been traveling with him in a medium size metal crate. Crate is too big and I think he would prefer something smaller so he feels safer because he hates to travel. We’re typically in the car no more than 2.5-3.5 hours. Have looked at a number of pet carriers because he’s so big that most the small crates are too small, he would destroy a soft crate and the larger crates are too big. Found this one and it was purrfect. He can stand up and he can turn around because he’s a cat, even though he’s morbidly obese he’s amazingly bendy and squashy. He also didn’t allow me to put it together before he claimed it. I had to assemble it with him in it and assembly was very easy, great design. Excellent sturdy construction, we do not plan on traveling in a plane so I can’t speak for that, the “certificate” it came with saying it was plane compliant was dated 2013. Things may have changed since then but there’s no way an animal is getting out of this without assistance. If you’re planning to travel on a plane, just try to make sure there will be no loose monkeys because they could definitely figure out how to open the door. We will be taking a trip fairly soon and I hope that he is happier in this than he was in the metal crate. Of course he wouldn’t cooperate to get a side-by-side picture and he looks too big in the video where he’s standing on top, but the crate accommodates him beautifully. Well ventilated, but won’t allow him to stick his fat paw through to claw shred my car, cool water/food dishes and stickers to stick all over it letting everyone know it contains a LIVE ANIMAL.Could also be used for a raccoon as long as his hands were not too tiny, so as not to reach them through the door to open it from the outside.

Quality, Sturdy Carrier for Cats
I bought a medium carrier so that my larger cats have ample room when I take them for vet visits and the size is perfect. It's very easy to assemble, no extra tools required. I like the extra fastening measures for travel use too. The wheels are optional and slide in and lock easily when needed. Would definitely purchase again.

Great size and value!!
I am very happy with this purchase. The carrier is very sturdy, yet light, and I appreciate that it has vents as opposed to metal grates for windows. The door is large and easy to put our cats through. Also seems very stable, and would be hard to tip over. I was surprised by the size, being that I ordered the smallest carrier. In the 2nd picture you can see how much larger it is than my older carrier. Not complaining though! Was a great value for the price

Well made
We take this crate in the car, truck and even on the back of the motorcycle! My husband cut a hole in the back so she can stick her head out when on the motorcycle. In the car and truck, we leave the door open and she is able to go in and out when she wants to on long trips. This is sturdy, easy to use and we place a pillow inside to make it comfy for her. This fits well in the backseat of our vehicles. This also works well in our RV, the size is not too large yet roomy for our dog. It's a little heavy for me, but I am not sure it can be made any lighter for the price.

Definitely a need to buy of traveling with animals!
I absolutely love this pet carrier! It is very sturdy. I used it for my two cats to drive across country. I ordered the small and it was definitely closer to a medium, but fit perfectly in the passenger seat of my car. Very easy to use and put together.

Absolute Quality
I have a 12-year-old domestic longhair cat that at one point was 24 lbs. A lot of people who see him mistake him for a Maine Coon. I have a normal-sized pet carrier that I've been putting him in, and he doesn't have room to do anything. That's because a foldable canvas one I WAS using, was torn up by a stray I had to house in it briefly, and then 2 more kittens eventually tore it up more so they could squeeze through and escape.I met a woman the last time I was at the vet, who had a nice carrier for her cat. It was about the size of the canvas carrier I previously used. She couldn't remember where she got it, though. So, I went searching on Amazon after measuring the current carrier and the canvas carrier, to find something that would work. I came across this, and just put it together this morning. It was insanely easy to assemble. I appreciated that.I am thoroughly impressed with it. It is very sturdy. I would say it's good for pets that are about the size of a Maine Coon, or a Corgi. Lots of room. They also sell a pet bed that fits in it nicely, which I purchased. The best part is that the carrier has wheels that can snap in and out easily while being completely locked into place. So, you can use wheels on it, or not.I highly recommend this carrier, especially if you're traveling... the wheels would make that a breeze (but could also be an issue with rolling around an airplane, or vehicle if not strapped into place).

Comfort and Safety 1st! My absolute favorite carrier!
I bought all kinds of different carriers from expensive to inexpensive ones.Top loader carriers, fabric carriers, and so on.I prefer the hard shell carriers as these are the safest kinds for transport.I was looking for the snap side locks to make it easier for me to disassemble and store away when not in use. This carrier is high a quality carrier. It’s durable and functional.Whoever designed this carrier, designed the perfect carrier for all uses from going to the vet or traveling long distances. This carrier is constructed properly to allow for safe transport without worrying that your cat or dog will get out at all.I’ve had cheaper plastic carriers where my cats busted through the top load doors, front doors, and or break through zippers in fabric carriers. It’s worth it to invest in a high quality carrier, than waste your money on poor cheaply made carriers, only to put your cats or dog in jeopardy if they get loose and run away.I purchased 4 of these carriers, but plan toPurchase more for each of my cats/dogs.
