Eating carb free, I miss pasta and rice in every form! I've been spending a small FORTUNE trying different types of "carb free" subsitutes (you can only eat so much cauliflower). Most of the products I tried had a very slimy consistency and tasted pretty bad. Then I stumbled on this one. It is AWESOME! Is it rice? No. Is it pasta? No. But, it's a darn good substitute made from yams. I've made the spaghetti and fettucine with red sauce - it blended well. I made the rice with homemade gravy from pork chops - it absorbed the flavors and it was yummy. It does not have the extact texture of pasta or rice - but, I rinsed it with water very well (as instructed) and it worked for me. Yes, it's pricey - but, that's OK - I love this stuff! The only bad part is it's been out-of-stock ... makes me sad.

I have no idea how this nasty stuff got good reviews. I have, so far, tried the "rice" and "fettuccine". Upon opening the fettuccine, I was hit with the smell of fish. I rinsed it and the smell went away. I heated it and tried to eat it with spaghetti sauce. No go...I tried heating it more and added mozzarella and pepperoni. It was horrible. The texture is like eating shredded tire rubber. There is literally no flavor...at all...The "rice" is the same texture. Like eating tiny rubber pellets. To me, there is absolutely no way this can be considered a replacement for pasta or rice in any capacity. Furthermore, each 7 oz packet is supposed to contain 7 servings. That's a laughable serving size.

Actually a pretty good substitute for pasta. Not much taste and the consistency is okay too. The smell that you smell upon cutting open the plastic bag is not too appealing. . Must be the water they pack it in... but it rinses off easily before use and doesn't give the pasta a bad taste. In fact there isn't any taste at all to me... but does plain pasta really have much of a taste anyway? I wish it wasn't as pricey but you get 2 bags of each kind in this trio pack so it's about $3 a bag.. $1.50 a serving. Let's just say it beats using zucchini zoodes in place of pasta!! Be brave try this product!

Rice taste/ texture is just like normal rice - no real flavor. Portion size is small but for zero carbs it’s fantastic! Haven’t tried noodles yet but will soon. 1/28/20- noodles are good! Have funky fish smell but are taste with just butter and seasoning and cook in 2 minutes! Will definitely be buying again!

Not bad, kind of tasteless, but if you’re looking for the texture it will do. One of the packets was leaking and it literally smelled like vomit. Pictures of the spaghetti noodles, both the same. Had to throw away that bag. Bad packaging. Money down the drain.

This noodle/rice pack is fantastic! I have digestive problems when I eat foods rich in carbs, so needless to say, regular pasta is off-limits. This is a great substitute and is super simple to prepare. The trick is not to cook it. You simply season it and warm it up. Very easy and tasty!

I sometimes do not like to rate products because people have different taste. When I first looked at this product I was looking for something low carb, we tried the spaghetti. It is an item we would not reorder. It was pretty much a filler and very different for us. The texture is not the same as pasta. I paired it with chicken parmesan. I probably should have only ordered one bag to try however I ordered the spaghetti, rice and fettuccine. I think you either like it or you do not. I have been reluctant to try the rice and fettuccine. Try it for yourself, you might like it.

I have not been a huge pasta fan even before I went on keto but every once in a while love a good chicken alfredo. I had high hopes from all of the reviews that these noodles would have a good robust flavor profile while being low carb. Two bites in an my hopes and what could have been delicious chicken alfredo when out in the trash. I followed the instructions to the letter. The noodles were rubbery and squishy, the flavor was that of wet paper, even the sauce didn't help. The slimy texture ended up making me gag. Up side I was so put off with this dinner I ended up not eating that evening so bonus - no extra calories were eaten. I will still to spaghetti squash in the future. A little upset about the money spent but it was a learning experience.
