There were no instructions. You just peel off the backing and press it down. So far it is adhering firmly.

matte or gloss finish?

I’d say it has a moderate gloss. It matches the finish on our leather couch.

Beige color in above pic looks like yellow, I have to use for silk biege car seat. Would that be ok?

The different display screen and the display light the leather tape may have a slight color difference, but we've tried to make the color as close to the real thing as possible. You can judge by the picture or contact us to help you.

Will is work on a heated set?

Mine are faring fine with heated seats. I've had them since early spring, and adhesion has been outstanding (no chafed edges, sticks where I put it). I suppose it depends on how close to the heating element you plan to use it, but I used it towards the edge of the seat and it fared fine.
