This converter was running beautifully until this morning when it just refused to turn on for my daily cup of coffee...Has anyone had any concerning the "5-year warranty"? I've only had this for a little over half a year.

this unit is being used to run a bratzeli iron from Switzerland. The unit runs very quietly and has never even been warm to the touch, even after several hours of running the bratzeli iron. Nice product, and I'd definitely recommend the product!!

Works well, however I did notice the smell a smell from it when I opened the box. Plugged it in, in the garage for a week to an refrigerator there, hoping it would go away. After a week, brought it in to connect to a different appliance in the house. Only lasted a few hours and the room smelled, its like a paint smell. Luckily, my other brand converter (bought in Korea - wish it had a brand name - also 3000watts) doesn't smell so just moved this one back to garage.

Came in good shape, no noise and so far it hasn't overheated. The only downside is a funky chemical gasoline smell, hopefully that goes away after a while, has anyone else experienced this smell?

Plug housings easily come off when pulling plug off.

very low quality, it did not even work with just one item connected.

I had never heard of one of these but needed it for a commercial popcorn maker. It has worked perfect every time and I still use it fairly often months later.
